What is AI like at producing music videos? I learned AI can be humorous without knowing it for itself. Yet, of course.
My new single Broken Country lists public grievances like patient waiting lists on the NHS, knife crime and muggings greatly increasing, foodbanks on the streets – that kind of stuff, why are these things not being properly addressed by authority?
I was asked to enter a description of the video I wanted.
Why do the public regard the UK as broken? I asked it.
‘It replied authoratively: ‘The Truth about the UK Falling Apart.
‘Strikes, soaring prices, political turbulence, but is that the whole story? it began.
Then the film switched to the marble floor of the stock market to praise the money men and then to tech companies to show the UK isn’t struggling at all. ‘We also head the way in green energy,’ it trumpets.
Hang on? What about addressing the people’s concerns?
With a large union jack now filling the screen it says: ‘Communities are coming together, and new businesses are popping up all over?”
Huh?
‘Sure, we have our rough spots what country doesn’t but don’t be fooled. The UK’s future is more hopeful than you’d ever think.”
This makes me turn to the future when we are bombed and we consult AI to ask why. It will reply: ‘They are not bombs. It is heavy rain. Tomorrow’s weather forecast is good. Smile and the world smiles with you.’
